Want your own Escort RS Cosworth in the USA ?
After a lot of enquires I have now decided to offer Ford Escort RS Cosworth cars for import into the USA.
I will offer only one type of car: The Ford Escort RS Cosworth.
Model year from 1992-1996. Both big and small turbo models will be
offered. See page on T35/T34 differences for more info on the
differences. If you want the car to be road legal it must have air-bags and that means
1994 and later model.
The car will be delivered to a harbor on the east coast of the USA. And sold
as is. If you're in a hurry air freight can be arranged.
Specifications
Specifications will vary according to model year but all cars
have ABS, power steering and Recaro sports seats. All cars except motorsport
versions have electric windows and mirrors, heated front and rear
windscreens. Some have AC, and some have leather
interior. From mid 1994 cars have air-bag(s).
Power
Power output is 227hp as standard but can be increased to whatever level you
decide before the car is shipped to the USA. Max 500 hp.
Prices
Prices will range from approximately USD 50.000 for standard cars. If you want a real monster the price will easily double. All prices are inclusive delivery to any harbor on the east
coast of the USA. Import duties and work that must be carried out to have the car
meet US regulations will come on top of the prices mentioned here. Prices will
also vary according to the exchange rate Euro/USD.
Time horizon
From the day we agree upon the car you want and I have my deposit on my account
delivery should happen within one month or so. What can take time is to find
the car you want. Especially if you want something special. Like very low mileage
or a lot of hp. Cars with more than 370 hp will take at least 2 months extra as
the engine has to be prepared.
