How to do ....

In these pages there will be detailed descriptions on how to maintain, upgrade and repair your Cossie. I will not take any responsibilities for any harm you do to yourself or your car as a result of attempting to do the repairs/upgrades described here. I have done them myself without trouble, so it's not difficult. Just use common sense and let me know if you have any corrections or improvements to add to these pages.

There are many resons why you would want to do the work on your car yourself, a few of the reasons are:
You save lots of money: The price they charge in workshops nowadays are so high that if you take the amount of money the shop would charge for a job and divide it by the time you use to do it yourself you woul probably have more per hour working on your own car than you have at work.
Second reason: Do it yourself and get it done right (or as right as you like). Although there are surely a few workshops that do perfect work 99.9% of the time, but for every such workshop I think there must be ten others that does it wrong about 50% of the time.
Third reason: It's fun and you always learn something when you work on your car, and last but not least: You can tell all you buddies: "I did it myself". That's one that will impress quite a few. And you can feel good about not having to rely on others to keep you car going.

Go to the tools page to check out what sort of tools you will need to do most things yourself. There's also a list of what tools I have.
